Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stated that robust operations will continue against terrorists wherever they may be found. Furthermore, operations against terrorist organizations—which operate under Indian patronage—will persist with full intensity.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar. There, he was briefed on the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, counter-terrorism operations, border management, and the operational readiness of military formations deployed in the province.
On this occasion, the Field Marshal commended the high morale and professional competence of the officers and soldiers. He directed them to maintain a high level of operational preparedness and constant vigilance to effectively counter the threat of terrorism.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir paid tribute to the people of Pakistan, the martyrs, and the veterans of the security forces. He expressed his firm resolve that, with the support of the public, Pakistan will decisively defeat the terrorists and their misguided ideology.
